Hey there, nice to meet you!

I’m Jeanine, UX/UI Designer based in the Sunshine State! ☀️

Driven by a deep sense of empathy and desire to help others, I received a B.S. in Sonography and worked in direct patient care in the healthcare field for three years. During this time, I honed my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. While I was driving out my passion to help others, I found that I wasn’t satisfied with my career and wanted something more.

While getting my degree, I had the chance to help my sister launch her at-home bakery business. From designing logos to creating web content and marketing materials, I found immense joy in the creative process. Though starting and operating a business was uncharted territory for both of us, it revealed my deep-seated passion for creative pursuits.

This discovery led me to the world of UX/UI and I felt like I found the perfect career where I could combine my background in healthcare with my love for innovative, user-centered design! My goal is to use my diverse skill set to craft meaningful and impactful designs, all while staying true to my passion for helping and connecting with people.

Outside of work

I was recently promoted to “mama”!

My husband and I recently welcomed our first (human) baby and have been navigating the world of being first time parents. Now that we’re out of the newborn trenches, we have been having so much fun watching him discover the world. Definitely the most demanding but most important job I’ll ever have! Our boy is growing so fast and we’re so excited to continue to watch him grow!

I’m also a “mom” to a 3-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Penny.

In typical Corgi fashion, she is very smart but also extremely stubborn. She is my first child and is treated as such (just a tad spoiled). I love bringing her with me anywhere I can! She’s even traveled in a plane within the US. She has now taken on the role of big sister and takes her job very seriously!

I love capturing nature through photos. 🌱

Besides my baby and my dog, my phone’s camera roll generally consists of sunsets, clouds, plants, and birds. Ever since I discovered Apple added photo ID to their software, I have become obsessed with using it to identify plants and animals - feels like I’m on a scavenger hunt!

I found this flower at Reflection Lake in Mt. Rainier National Park in Washington and thought the name was very fitting!

I love to travel and plan dream vacations in my free time. 💭

You can often find me browsing through travel sites or Airbnb planning hypothetical vacations. The lasat 2 years, my husband and I delved into the world of travel hacking with points and have had a lot of fun with that. So far I’ve visited 15 states, including Alaska and Hawaii, and 15 countries! Next on the list to visit are England, Iceland, and Japan!

I’m a huge Harry Potter fan (Ravenclaw house here!) ⚡️

Every year, my family and I have a Harry Potter movie marathon to kickoff the holiday season. I‘m a big nostalgic person and the movies just strike the right chord so it’s become a holiday tradition at this point (still need to finish the books!) Being in Florida, I’ve been lucky to have been to the Wizarding World at Universal Studios quite a few times, but I’m dying to go to the studio tour in London and see the film locations as well!
